New Megastore Coming to Midtown Manhattan

They say everything’s bigger in Texas, but we know everything’s better in New York. Like, just to take one example, shopping.

Manhattan is the mecca for shopping. Maybe also throw in there London’s High Street or Rodeo Drive in Tinseltown…maybe. But Sixth Avenue, Fifth Avenue, all the alleyways in between…that’s where it’s at, am I right?

So awesome when I heard about another big store coming to Midtown, at the base of the Hilton. (Check out this YouTube clip (Bluemercury Founder Barry Beck talks transition from cult brand to household name) (go to the 27-second mark).) Looking at the video images they show of this place as the guy’s talking, it looks exactly like the sort of flagship Manhattan is supposed to have and one more reason to pound the pavement.

Which will be the next megabrand to install one of its showcase stores in Midtown and be right up our alley? I need to check back up that Nordstrom situation.
